Job summary

Triple Whale is hiring a full stack engineer to own the in-product growth surface. You will build experiences that drive activation, adoption of key features, and upgrades through self-serve flows, working with product, sales, CS, and marketing.

The role is ~80% frontend and 20% backend, including API endpoints for experiment config, usage tracking, PQL scoring logic, and integrations with internal systems. You’ll use AI tools to accelerate work and ship growth features that matter.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years professional full stack experience with a frontend emphasis in React and backend in Node.js or Python.
• Experience building UI in critical path for conversion or monetization (upgrades, onboarding, paywalls).
• Hands-on with feature flags and A/B testing infrastructure (LaunchDarkly, Statsig, Optimizely) or equivalents.
• Comfort with analytics instrumentation and event tracking (Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
• Experience using AI tools as part of the development workflow, not just occasionally.
• Ability to move fast and ship iteratively without sacrificing code quality.
• Strong collaboration with product teams and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build growth surfaces and upgrade flows that drive self-serve conversions.
• Own the frontend growth experimentation stack and instrument events for analytics.
• Develop onboarding flows, tooltips, checklists, and contextual nudges to activate users.
• Contribute to core product work when priorities demand it and align with the broader platform.
