Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Portfolio Analyst for its client, a long-standing financial institution in Pittsburgh. The role supports the C&I team, focusing on managing a commercial loan portfolio and assessing borrower creditworthiness.

You will analyze financial statements, prepare credit memos, present loans for approval, and maintain client relationships while identifying additional business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial credit analysis experience.
• Formal credit training preferred.
• Strong C&I or IRE underwriting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of a well-performing commercial loan portfolio.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and creditworthiness of borrowers.
• Prepare loan presentations and credit memos for approval.
• Work directly with commercial clients to understand their financial needs.
• Maintain existing relationships while identifying opportunities for additional business.
• Assist with credit issues, delinquencies, overdrafts, and portfolio monitoring.
