Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of commercial credit analysis experience within a financial institution.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and borrower cash flows.
• Understanding of commercial lending principles and credit underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial loan requests by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, collateral information, and other documentation.
• Prepare cash flow analyses and evaluate borrower financial performance to support lending decisions.
• Underwrite primarily commercial real estate loans with exposure to C&I and investment real estate lending.
• Complete annual loan reviews, renewals, and portfolio monitoring.
• Prepare credit approval memorandums highlighting strengths, risks, and mitigating factors.
