Job summary

Shore United Bank invites applications for an Assistant Branch Manager at the Arbutus, MD location. This role supports the Branch Manager in daily branch operations, customer service and regulatory compliance, while driving business development and staff leadership.

The position requires supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree or banking experience, and an active NMLS license or ability to obtain one. The pay range is $58,656 to $70,000 annually, with standard benefits and room for growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent banking experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a branch role with strong knowledge of bank products and services, and working knowledge of consumer and mortgage loans.
• Prior supervisory experience with ability to lead, manage, and develop a team.
• Federal NMLS License required, or ability to get licensed following hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager in overseeing daily workflow and branch operations.
• Support business development strategies to achieve branch goals.
• Provide loan processing and handle routine loan inquiries.
• Conduct business development calls to prospective and current customers.
• Lead and mentor branch staff; conduct performance evaluations and training.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor branch financial activities, perform audits, and manage cash levels.
• Schedule staff and manage timekeeping for payroll.
