Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, support customers with financial services, and drive sales growth. You’ll train and coach staff, manage risk, and build customer relationships in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position (standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy and integrity.
• Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives.
• Perform duties outside the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands.
• Meet company performance standards by leveraging partnerships and participating in in-store events.
• Maintain store security protocols and manage vault and cash drawer.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws; conduct store audits and report on financial data.
• Maintain store appearance and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
