Job summary

Chief of Staff Kc is seeking a Supervisor for the Assembly department to lead a growing team in light industrial assembly. You will plan work assignments, train staff, and collaborate with HR on hiring while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

You will supervise frontline leads, drive 5S and safety practices, and provide timely problem resolution for equipment and material shortages as headcount expands in the coming years.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a supervisory role within assembly.
• Background in sheet metal, electrical, or appliance-related manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel to meet KPIs.
• Oversees assembly work through subordinate leads and ensures timely completion.
• Promotes and enforces company policies and procedures on the floor.
• Provides floor presence for accessibility and rapid problem resolution.
• Maintains equipment operation by coordinating repairs and evaluating new methods.
• Communicates job expectations and results to frontline employees daily.
• Leads onboarding and training for a growing assembly team as headcount expands.
• Coaches staff to foster performance and development, aligned with policy.
• Assists in recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of production staff.
• Ensures quality standards and maintains production performance data for management.
