Job summary

GENERAL TOOL COMPANY seeks an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead the production team on the Cincinnati floor. You will allocate resources, enforce SOPs, and drive quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence while coaching staff and coordinating with quality, engineering and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Five years of demonstrated supervisory experience in manufacturing settings.
• Leadership skills with ability to build consensus and lead teams.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience directing production, quality, engineering and purchasing relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly department operations and allocate resources.
• Ensure SOPs followed, improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate schedules and overtime to meet production targets.
• Investigate discrepancies with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train employees and conduct performance appraisals.
• Collaborate with teams to reduce waste and variability in processes.
• Monitor progress and address issues to prevent delays.
