Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a Growth engineering leader to join the Spark team, driving world-class experimentation and acquisition features across Atlassian surfaces. You will build and guide a high-impact engineering group, shaping the technical strategy and delivery with an emphasis on AI-enabled features.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to align on strategy, improve developer velocity, and maintain reliability and security across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (CS preferred).
• Strong background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling.
• Experience with applied AI/ML systems, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or AI evaluation frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with product managers, TPMs, and designers to shape product and platform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop talent: Manage, mentor, and coach a team of engineers.
• Drive execution across top-of-the-funnel workstreams to deliver measurable value.
• Provide technical direction and establish scalable architecture and best practices.
• Champion agile practices to improve velocity and reduce blockers.
