Job summary

Sauna is based in San Francisco and is hiring to own the engineering that helps people discover Sauna, try it and become customers. You will drive website experiments, tracking, integrations and internal tools behind growth.

You’ll work with Marketing to run experiments, understand product economics, and translate briefs into production with measurable results. This is a hands-on role in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Shipped production software across frontend, backend and data.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, APIs, webhooks and SQL.
• Implemented conversion tracking and ad-platform integrations.
• Instrumented analytics and used data to inform growth decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition tracking end to end; define events, implement tracking, and connect attribution to signups, usage and payments.
• Ship website and funnel experiments; build landing pages and forms, test journeys across devices.
• Make the numbers dependable; reconcile ad-platform reports with product and billing data, identify gaps.
• Turn hypotheses into tested releases; select success metrics, run experiments, and interpret results with care.
• Build tools that remove recurring growth work by connecting analytics, billing, CRM, and marketing systems.
• Own what you ship; write tests, review code, and monitor systems after release.
