Job description

Who We Are

ConsumerAffairs helps consumers make smart buying decisions in moments of need. Every month millions of consumers turn to our site and tools for help with their considered (often emotional) purchases.

We educate them about their options, learn about their specific needs, and connect hundreds of thousands of them directly to brands. These brands use our SaaS tools to manage their reviews and communicate directly with consumers to serve them better. Our business thrives when the consumers who trust us get matched with the right brands for them.

We’re fast-paced and our core values are the bedrock of who we are and who we want to be.

Our employees are committed to raising the bar through ambition, data-driven decision-making, and a relentless pursuit of improvement. We tackle the hard things that matter, always seeking a better way.

At our core, we believe that we win as one team. Team goals come first, and we work with humility, transparency, and accountability to get the job done. We support each other, pick up the slack when needed, and value honesty in all our interactions.

Above all, we care. We go the extra mile to see the whole picture, showing loyalty and dedication to our consumers and brands. We solve root causes, not just symptoms, ensuring lasting impact.

If you’re looking to be part of a globally diverse team that raises the bar, wins as one, and truly cares, ConsumerAffairs could be the perfect place for you!

About the Role

ConsumerAffairs is looking for an AI Native Growth Manager to lead the next evolution of our product growth strategy.

This isn’t a traditional growth role. We’re looking for someone who naturally thinks AI-first: someone who sees artificial intelligence as a force multiplier for every aspect of product development, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.

You’ll identify growth opportunities, lead experimentation across the product, build AI-powered workflows, and help shape how our teams leverage AI to work smarter and move faster. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver measurable business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Own Product Growth Strategy

    • Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and revenue

    • Define and monitor key product growth metrics and KPIs

  • Lead Experimentation

    • Design, launch, and evaluate A/B tests and growth experiments

    • Translate customer insights and behavioral data into product improvements

    • Make recommendations backed by data rather than assumptions

  • Drive AI Transformation

    • Identify opportunities where AI can improve customer experiences and internal operations

    • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine practical business applications

    • Build or oversee AI-powered automations that reduce manual work and increase team productivity

    • Partner with Engineering to incorporate AI capabilities into our products

    • Serve as an internal thought leader on AI trends, best practices, and implementation

  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Partner with Product Managers to define growth priorities

    • Work closely with Engineering to deliver scalable solutions

    • Collaborate with Marketing on acquisition, onboarding, lifecycle, and conversion optimization

    • Partner with Analytics to build dashboards, reporting, and predictive insights

Required Experience

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Growth, Growth Strategy, or Growth Marketing, preferably within a technology company

  • Proven success driving measurable improvements in customer acquisition, engagement, retention, or monetization

  • Experience owning product growth metrics and experimentation roadmaps

  • Strong knowledge of product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, Looker, or Tableau

  • SQL proficiency and comfort working with large datasets

  • Experience integrating AI solutions into customer-facing products

  • Familiarity with no-code and low-code automation platforms

  • Experience leading product growth initiatives from strategy through execution

Who You Are

  • Obsessed with ensuring an exceptional customer experience for both internal and external customers

  • Stands up for decisions, takes responsibility for results, and shares both good and bad outcomes transparently

  • Demonstrates a relentless focus on results with a commitment to deliver

  • Displays a growth mindset to continually improve; encourages everyone around them to be tenacious and never settle

  • Constantly seeks feedback to improve

  • Acts with urgency; delivers top results in hours and days instead of weeks and months

  • Relentless in their pursuit of success and possesses the willpower to embrace challenges as opportunities

What Success Looks Like in Year One

Below are illustrative measures of success for this role; specific outcomes will be mutually identified with the Chief Product Officer based on business need.

  • Deliver measurable improvements across key product growth metrics.

  • Establish an experimentation framework that enables rapid learning.

  • Introduce AI-powered processes that significantly improve organizational efficiency.

  • Help transform Product into an AI-first organization.

  • Become a trusted strategic partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

  • Create scalable systems that continue driving growth long after they’re implemented.
