Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and maximize sales, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will mentor team members, drive results, and uphold Burlington's values across merchandising, operations, and service management. As MOD, you will manage a multi-million-dollar store, coordinate staffing, onboarding, and coaching, and partner with district and regional teams to ensure execution of policies and initiatives in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policies and initiatives are followed.
• Ensure team members fulfill individual responsibilities and contribute to sales goals.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing with Merchandising.
• Oversee receiving, transfers, returns-to-vendor, and inventory accuracy with Operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and related budgets and reporting.
• Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and structured development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Oversee payroll budgeting, workforce management, and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication across store, district, regional teams, and partners.
