Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Texas seeks a sales-focused professional to develop independent account business and improve overall profitability through new sales and account penetration. Promote and sell company branded products and meet brand sales objectives.

You will analyze territory, present products, grow margins, set up new accounts, coordinate with Credit for authorization, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing sales territory and customers; conducts product samples and sales presentations.
• Grows sales and margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts, coordinates with Credit for authorization and deliveries.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through coordinated cross-functional support; may deliver in emergencies.
• Expands business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
• Monitors credit terms to minimize receivables issues and follows up on problems.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
