Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and lead the team in the Store Manager's absence. After training, you will be on the floor overseeing activities and driving store performance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and experience in retail management, with a willingness to work nights and weekends and perform basic math for till and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 2-4 years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and supervision of employees.
• Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions and maintain compliance standards for shrink control.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
• Ensuring adherence of staff members to Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures.
