Job summary

Trustmark in Pearl, MS seeks a Relationship Banker to identify customer needs and refer them to bank products. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience and deepen relationships while processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience with a track record of exceeding goals.
• Ability to learn Trustmark lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years of employment.
• Register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or eligibility to do so.
• Strong math and cash handling skills with accurate transaction processing.
• Exceptional customer service and familiarity with Trustmark products.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and refer them through proactive sales/service.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposits, loans, insurance, and cash management.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience per Trustmark service standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, loan payments).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while maintaining service quality.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies and performance standards.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve transactions (night drops, ATM deposits, collections, money orders).
• Handle cash shipments and vault management; originate consumer loans.
