Job summary

Vorteqcoil in Woodstock, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor and evaluate products for quality specifications. You will work with line personnel, operate lab equipment, and verify testing procedures to ensure conformance.

The role requires 2+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, strong reading/writing and basic data-entry skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Shift is 1st with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality experience in steel, coating, or manufacturing.
• Proficient reading and writing.
• Comfort with calculator and basic data entry.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Exposure to production environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate products to ensure quality specs.
• Operate lab equipment and follow testing procedures.
• Read and verify supplier Product Specification Sheets.
• Prepare lab data sheets and paperwork for production runs.
• Assist line personnel with production policies and paint verifications.
• Communicate with customers and vendors as needed.
