We're looking for a performance-driven Plumbing Service Manager who wants to build people, grow a team, and take an already established department to its next level.

This isn't a role built around simply supervising experienced plumbers and keeping the department running.

We need a leader and coach who gets excited about developing people, recruiting talent, creating accountability, and chasing a goal with their team.

You'll lead an established plumbing service department with experienced technicians, proven systems, thousands of customers, and significant room to grow.

Technical plumbing knowledge matters.

Your ability to produce results through people matters more.

What You'll Own

You'll be responsible for the overall health and performance of the plumbing service department, including: revenue, profitability, and department KPIs

• Technician coaching and development
• Recruiting plumbers and apprentices
• Apprentice development and career progression
• Staffing, retention, and turnover
• Customer experience and service quality
• Consistent execution of our service process
  
  

You'll know where the department stands throughout the month and use that information to lead.

When we're winning, build on it. When we have a gap, understand why, create the plan, and coach the team forward. Coach. Develop. Recruit. Grow.

Your biggest responsibility is building the team that produces the results.

You'll use one-on-ones, ride-alongs, call reviews, meetings, training, and KPI scorecards to help technicians understand where they're succeeding and where they can improve.

You'll set clear expectations, recognize great performance, and address performance gaps with timely, constructive coaching.

You'll also help us continuously attract great people by recruiting experienced plumbers, hiring and developing apprentices, and creating an environment where great employees want to stay.

Our goal is to build the bench ahead of our growth, not allow staffing to determine how far we can grow.

The department gets better because of your leadership.

Technicians understand their goals and know where they stand. Coaching happens consistently. Performance challenges are addressed early. Strong performers are developed and retained. Apprentices have a clear path forward. Recruiting keeps pace with growth.

And your team consistently improves revenue, productivity, customer experience, and profitability.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has demonstrated the ability to lead people in a performance-driven residential service environment.

You Should Bring

• Experience leading and developing field-service employees
• Proven ability to improve individual and team performance
• Experience coaching against measurable KPIs
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and retaining field talent
• Confidence having constructive accountability conversations
• Strong understanding of residential service operations
• Comfort with revenue, sales, productivity, and profitability goals
• Ability to turn performance data into action
• Strong organization, follow-through, energy, and ownership
  
  

Residential plumbing service experience is strongly preferred. Experience with ServiceTitan and Nexstar Network is a plus.

You need enough technical credibility to lead experienced plumbing professionals, but we're not simply searching for the most technically accomplished plumber. We're looking for someone who can make an entire team better.
