Purvis Industries is seeking an Operations Manager in Dallas, TX to support branch operations, inventory control, distribution, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with regional management, suppliers, and sales teams to drive growth and profitability.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and developing programs to increase sales. A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience preferred.
• Four years of experience in a similar or progressive position preferred.
• Product and application experience required.
• Experience monitoring the marketplace and identifying business opportunities preferred.
• Demonstrated success meeting branch sales goals and growing sales preferred.
• Experience with profit and loss management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess local market conditions and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and branch business plans.
• Recommend changes to branch policies and goals as appropriate.
• Assist the Regional and Branch Managers in developing branch objectives.
• Address customer satisfaction issues promptly and professionally.
• Support extension and enforcement of company credit policies with the Credit Department.
• Assist in achieving profitability goals for the branch and organization.
• Maintain understanding of revenue, margins, and market share objectives.
• Manage and grow existing distribution accounts from an operations level.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities and develop value-added programs.
• Help implement programs to increase sales and improve margins.
• Prepare required reports and participate in operations meetings.
• Collaborate with area suppliers, Sales Directors, and manufacturers' reps.
