Job summary

Purvis Industries is seeking an Operations Manager in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports the Branch Manager across all operations to drive growth and profitability, including forecasting, policy recommendations, and performance improvement.

You will collaborate with suppliers, sales directors, and manufacturers to meet sales goals, manage accounts, and oversee programs that enhance margins. A strong background in leadership, strategy, and customer satisfaction is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow distribution accounts at the operations level.
• Analyze data for trends and develop value-added programs.
• Prepare required reports for operations meetings.

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch manager in all areas of operations to drive growth and profit within the Branch. The following is a list of job duties for an Operations Manager. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Job Duties:

• Assesslocalmarketconditions,identifycurrentandprospectivesalesopportunities, anddevelop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branch.
• Recommenddesirablechangesinthepoliciesandgoalsofthebranchandtheorganization.
• AssisttheRegionalandBranchManagerindevelopingbranchandorganizationalobjectives.
• Addresscustomersatisfactionissuespromptly.
• CooperatefullywiththeCreditDepartmentinextendingandenforcingcreditpolicy.
• Achievetheprofitabilitygoals/objectivesofthedivision/branchandorganization.
• Understandoverallaccountabilityforrevenue,margins,mix,andmarketshareobjectives.
• Manageandgrowexistingdistributionaccountsfromanoperationslevel.
• Analyzedatafortrendsanddevelopandexecute“value-added”programs.
• Assistincreatingandimplementingprogramstodrivesalesandimprovemargins.
• Participateinoperationsmeetingsandpreparerequiredreports.
• Workcollaborativelywithareasuppliers,salesdirectors,andmanufacturers’reporganizations.
