Job summary

Youth For Christ Puerto Rico is seeking a passionate, highly organized Director of Operations & Development to strengthen and expand our ministry across Puerto Rico.

This senior role partners with the National Director to oversee operations, finances, HR, compliance, and fundraising, ensuring sustainable growth and faithful stewardship of resources.

The ideal candidate has a servant leadership style, a BA in a related field, 3+ years nonprofit leadership, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of operations, administration, finance, or nonprofit leadership experience.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and organizational systems.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily operations with the National Director.
• Develop and implement annual operational plans and policies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting; ensure fund stewardship.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance; support audits and board reporting.
• Lead HR processes: hiring, onboarding, staff development, recruitment, retention.
• Support fundraising events, campaigns, and grant research/proposals.
