Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow strategic grocery retail accounts across major banners in the U.S. market.

You will own customer relationships, execute joint business plans, and drive sales, profitability, and brand presence with buyers and category managers. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in CPG account management, strong knowledge of grocery retail and syndicated data, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+ years of account management or sales in CPG.
• Experience with regional grocery retailers (Publix, Hy-Vee, Raley's, H-E-B, Meijer).
• Strong knowledge of grocery retail, category mgmt, and syndicated data.
• Experience negotiating customer agreements and promotions.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with solid project management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Willingness to travel ~25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of regional grocery accounts including major banners.
• Develop and execute annual joint business plans for revenue and distribution.
• Build relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions, new item authorizations, and merchandising.
• Drive distribution gains and optimize shelf presence.
• Analyze sales data and trends to identify growth.
• Forecast sales and coordinate with supply chain for availability.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance and Operations.
• Lead customer business reviews with performance insights and growth strategies.
• Manage trade spend calendars and customer budgets; travel as needed.
