Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects in the Columbus market. The role offers exposure to diverse sectors and substantial career growth within a nationally recognized firm.

The candidate will manage budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and stakeholder communication across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects from award to completion.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Develop budgets, schedules, forecasts, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Manage subcontractor procurement and change order processes.
• Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead project meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support business development through client relationships.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
