Job summary

gpac LLC. is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a community-oriented bank in South Central Kansas, seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to grow its commercial lending portfolio.

In this role you will develop loans, manage relationships, and ensure credit decisions align with bank policies. The successful candidate will have active commercial lending experience, strong business development skills, and local community involvement.

Qualifications

• Active commercial lending experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
• Strong business development and credit risk assessment skills; CRE and middle-market experience.
• Knowledge of bank lending and collection regulations.
• Community bank or credit union background and local community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop new loans and manage an existing commercial portfolio.
• Build a book of business and cross-sell commercial banking services through a proactive business development plan.
• Monitor portfolio and repayment activity, and act on past-due accounts.
