Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will promote a compassionate environment, assist with ADLs, and help implement the resident’s plan of care in a multi-facility setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms regularly.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, food consumption, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
