Job summary

Nylok LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a commercially focused Business Unit Manager for its Michigan facility. You will own growth, lead Lean improvements, and drive profitability through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and corporate teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years’ manufacturing leadership, strong automotive experience, and a track record of developing leaders, improving delivery, and expanding customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/Business or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong automotive industry knowledge and customer relationship-building.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and P&L responsibilities.
• Hands-on Lean methods deployed with measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Michigan facility’s growth through a clear growth strategy and disciplined execution.
• Drive Lean operations, throughput, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and coach supervisors and future leaders; build cross-functional teams.
• Align capacity, quality, and delivery with customer commitments and new programs.
• Partner with Business Development to win new customers and programs.
