Job summary

Vannevar Labs is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to own critical operational and strategic initiatives from day one. You will drive customer delivery systems, build scalable business processes, and shape talent strategies for fast growth across our mission areas.

You will partner with leaders in mission and engineering to optimize delivery, finance to understand cost structures, and recruiting to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• ~5-10+ years of relevant work experience in national security, management consulting, or high growth startups.
• Ownership and autonomy in delivering outcomes with minimal direction.
• Judgment to prioritize problems, balance speed and long-term value.
• Ability to design processes and tools that scale with growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer delivery and commercial operations, coordinating with mission and engineering teams.
• Build and tailor business systems, data collection, and processes to scale operations.
• Develop talent strategies to attract and hire senior specialists for growth areas.
• Shape the business and operating model for new growth customer/mission areas.
• Own special projects like strategic investments or process improvements.
