Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Business Relationship Manager I in its Business Banking division, Clayton, MO. You will manage a portfolio of 70-90 business clients with $1-5M in annual revenue, delivering tailored deposits, cash management, and credit solutions up to $500k.

You will build relationships, provide financial advice, and collaborate across lines of business to meet clients' needs while maintaining risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• General business knowledge and understanding of business credit and core products/services.
• Strong communication with clients and internal partners.
• Ability to balance client needs with risks and determine when to elevate or handle independently.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks to achieve business objectives and own problems for clients.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70-90 business clients with annual revenue of $1-5M; provide deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities up to ~$500k.
• Deliver tailored business banking solutions to meet clients' financial needs.
• Leverage knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to promote profitable solutions.
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and clients to build and maintain relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business clients to cultivate long-term primary banking relationships.
• Collaborate with partners across Chase lines of business to connect clients with specialists.
• Support branches and follow sound risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
