First Merchants Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead sales initiatives, coach staff, and ensure operational soundness across the banking center. You will drive deposits and loans by building relationships and conducting outside business development.

The role requires a minimum of three years in sales/management within banking, S.A.F.E Act/NMLS, and a Notary Public designation. Equal opportunity employer with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three (3) years of sales, management, banking, or related experience including leadership.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required within three months of hire (NMLS).
• Notary Public designation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and compliance of the banking center.
• Develop and implement aggressive sales and marketing strategies to drive deposits, loans, and referrals.
• Open accounts and process loan applications for consumer and business clients.
• Coach staff through weekly meetings and formal/informal sessions to improve sales and service behavior.
