Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, oversee merchandising and inventory, and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Drive sales, merchandise presentation, inventory, and safety compliance.
• Coach and develop associates; lead recruitment and onboarding when needed.
• Support scheduling, labour planning, and loss prevention initiatives.
