Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help organize merchandise, and ensure the store remains clean, safe, and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, and stocking tasks.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
