Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC in Newport News, VA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. You will show apartments, process applications, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs while maintaining property standards.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, prepare weekly reports, and collaborate with maintenance, marketing, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree or 2-year associates degree or 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service.
• Familiarity with rent collection and leasing practices.
• Yardi expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and ensure cash flow.
• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and maintain resident files.
• Prepare and forward weekly reports; assist in lease renewals and accounts payable/receivable.
• Collaborate with maintenance, marketing and other departments; perform outreach marketing as directed.
