DRUCKER + FALK is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Newport News, Virginia. The role supports the Property Manager to ensure cash flow and property upkeep while delivering customer satisfaction.

This full-time, on-site position requires strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in retail sales or customer service and knowledge of apartment rental practices. Growth potential and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have one or more of the following: 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service
• Detailed oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices
• Excellent customer service skills as well as sales and marketing skills
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work well with others and ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Handle and coordinate all details of move-ins and move-outs.
• Prepare weekly traffic/renewal status reports.
• Keep the advertising and websites file up to date.
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as instructed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
