Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in the Columbia area to lead daily restaurant operations. You will train staff, manage schedules, control inventory, and uphold safety and brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will work closely with the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect the Sonic brand, with opportunities for leadership development and internal advancement within KBP Brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand/walk for long periods, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and promptly resolve customer issues.
• Oversee financial responsibilities including cash handling and expense control; partner to drive growth and protect the brand.
