Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Aurora, CO seeks a Director of Retail & Chains to lead the market's retail vision, P&L, and growth across chain and strategic accounts. You’ll align supplier priorities with customer initiatives, optimize pricing, merchandising, and promotions, and coach a high-performing team to deliver profit and share gains.

This senior role requires 7+ years in beverage/CPG leadership, 5+ years guiding customer-facing sales teams, and a proven record of driving revenue

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods, retail sales, chain account management, or commercial leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading customer-facing sales teams, people managers, and cross-functional business initiatives.
• Experience owning a business unit, P&L, or significant commercial portfolio.
• Strong understanding of syndicated data, category management, pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness, merchandising, and consumer insights.
• Ability to travel throughout the market and key customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual volume, revenue, profit, and share growth goals across all assigned retail channels and strategic customers.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key regional and national retail decision makers.
• Lead annual customer business reviews and supplier planning sessions.
• Own and direct the retail promotional calendar to align suppliers, customers, and sales teams.
• Develop merchandising strategies that improve visibility and sales performance.
