Job summary

Upgrade seeks a Director of Product Management for Personal Loans to drive growth from acquisition to profitability. You will lead cross-functional teams and base decisions on customer insights, data, and business economics.

You will partner with Marketing, Partnerships, Risk, and Finance to optimize the loan funnel and expand market reach while delivering measurable business results.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of product management experience at principal/director level.
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear product strategies and roadmaps.
• Skilled in using data to understand customer behavior, funnels, unit economics and tradeoffs.
• Experience in consumer lending, fintech, or data-intensive consumer financial products preferred.
• Proven collaboration with Marketing, Growth, Partnerships and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own growth product strategy for Personal Loans, expanding funded volume and addressable market.
• Understand the Personal Loans funnel, customer behavior, channels, and credit constraints.
• Identify and size new growth opportunities: loan programs, segments, partnerships, distributions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align product strategy with acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
• Partner with Partnerships to test new distribution opportunities and optimize existing ones.
• Work with Risk, Credit, Finance and Analytics to evaluate impact and profitability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch with clear milestones.
• Define hypotheses and success metrics; iterate after launches.
