Job summary

Veryable is seeking a Director of Business Development for the Atlanta market to drive business development, account retention, and revenue growth. The role involves engaging with plant managers, warehouse and operations leaders to communicate the value of Veryable’s on-demand labor platform and manage a small team of BDA across Atlanta.

The DoBD reports to the GM, Atlanta Market, collaborating with a regional team to expand Veryable’s footprint.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct experience in logistics, supply chain or manufacturing
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally with a winning attitude
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Detail oriented with data-driven problem solving
• Leadership experience or mentoring capability
• Office-based role with regular local business visits (in Atlanta)

Responsibilities

• Promote company values and culture
• Develop strategic accounts and partnerships with manufacturers and distributors
• Present the value of Veryable’s platform to potential clients
• Create roadmaps to onboard new clients and establish success benchmarks
• Build brand awareness and manage client relationships via multiple channels
• Manage CRM and leverage tools to generate client interest
• Collaborate with regional team to grow the Atlanta footprint
• Coach and mentor a small DBA team
• Ensure operational and business development metrics are met
• Provide market insights to inform product management
