Cambridge Associates is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to drive lead generation and pipeline building across all client types and service offerings within the US Southeast region.

This role expands the firm’s reach, cultivates new relationships, and supports the growth of our institutional and private client businesses, requiring strong networking, strategic outreach, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of business development experience in financial services.
• Experience in Southeast US region is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across endowments, foundations, pensions and private clients.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects with steady activity toward growth targets.
• Establish relationships with COIs, consultants, and market participants in the region.
• Represent Cambridge Associates at industry events and networking forums to generate leads.
• Coordinate outreach with marketing and practice leaders; ensure smooth handoffs and onboarding of new clients.
• Maintain CRM records and report regional performance to senior leadership.
