Southern New England, Inc. is seeking a Director of Donor Acquisition and Special Events to lead growth in donor access, retail donation volume, and philanthropic giving.

You will drive partnerships, corporate giving, and comprehensive event programs to generate revenue streams while overseeing program strategy and execution. The role requires strategic development, multi-site operations experience, and a passion for community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Not-for-Profit Management, or related field.
• Seven years of professional experience in strategy development, fundraising, and community engagement, with at least five years in management.
• Non-profit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees a comprehensive donor acquisition strategy to increase donations and retail donated goods.
• Builds strategic partnerships with businesses and community organizations to generate recurring donations.
• Leads fundraising campaigns and oversees special events to maximize philanthropic revenue.
• Represents the organization to build visibility and relationships with the Connecticut community.
• Provides leadership and coaching to staff and volunteers to achieve measurable results.
