Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Business Analyst (Starlink Growth Demand Planning) to own weekly and quarterly demand forecasts, long-term planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for Starlink growth initiatives.

You will drive cross-functional roadmaps with Product, Engineering, Global Operations, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams, and analyze the financial impact of growth experiments to guide prioritization and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, plus 1+ years in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
• 1+ years of experience using Excel for financial modeling.
• 3+ years in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
• Distinctive business judgment and communication skills.
• Excellent project management, problem solving and analysis skills.
• Experience analyzing data, identifying insights, and developing creative approaches to solving problems.
• Background in financial analysis and working with SQL and/or Python.
• Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
• Industry experience in telecom, technology, consumer products, automotive, and/or maritime.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance liaison for consumer growth, owning forecasts, long-term planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Drive cross-functional roadmaps and launch planning with Product Engineering, Software, Global Ops, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams.
• Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes for faster, better-informed decisions.
• Analyze financial impact of growth experiments and forecast opportunities to prioritize initiatives.
• Assess consumer insights to identify winning and losing demand generation approaches.
• Lead development and execution of strategic growth programs to maximize customer acquisition.
