Job summary

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system, seeks a Head of Growth Data Science in San Francisco. You will lead a team using data, experimentation, and advanced analytics to accelerate global growth—across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion—working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and regional leaders.

You will define growth strategy, build scalable measurement frameworks, and develop models and insights to guide investments across markets and products,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data science, analytics, or quantitative strategy experience.
• 5+ years leading high‑performing technical teams.
• Experience translating insights for senior leaders.
• Hands-on experimentation, forecasting, ML in production.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks/Snowflake/dbt/Airflow).
• Experience deploying Generative AI applications and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Growth, Product, Marketing, Sales to identify opportunities.
• Lead growth analytics across acquisition to expansion.
• Develop segmentation, attribution and optimization models.
