Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company invites applications for a Mid Level Automotive Technician. Gain hands-on experience in a Just Tires center, diagnosing issues while delivering outstanding service and familiarizing yourself with brakes, alignments, and evolving automotive tech.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year of automotive experience, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Including brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and provide clear communication about guest vehicles; mentor junior technicians
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report safety issues to management
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting
