Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is looking for a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. The role focuses on diagnosing issues using mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.

You’ll learn to handle brakes, alignments, and various diagnostics as part of a fast-paced, supportive team with opportunities for certification reimbursement and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Demonstrate guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles; provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
