Job summary

Sterling Jasper Properties, Corp is expanding its business development leadership in Texas. Immediate start to build client relationships, grow a partner network, and shape strategy for scalable workforce housing services across the state.

You’ll work closely with operations to align processes, draft key documents, and drive go-to-market initiatives in a startup environment. A driver’s license is required for travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, account management, or strategy.
• Natural networker who builds relationships easily and follows through.
• Experience negotiating contracts or partnership agreements.
• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves.
• Comfortable in a startup setting where role and priorities shift.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new clients, especially construction and other industries with traveling workforces.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and track progress toward growth goals.
• Network actively through industry events, chambers of commerce, trade associations, and professional groups.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for key clients, understand their housing needs and keep them coming back.
• Grow and strengthen relationships with property management companies and housing partners.
• Find new housing partners in markets where clients need coverage.
• Negotiate partner terms that serve both our clients and the business.
• Develop and carry out the company’s go-to-market and growth strategy.
• Research new markets, industries, and opportunities for expansion.
• Help shape pricing, proposals, and how we present our services.
• Set goals and KPIs with leadership, and report on progress regularly.
• Work with the Director of Operations to assess current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Help create SOPs that make the business consistent and scalable.
• Help define and rollout the company’s mission, vision, and values.
• Draft and manage client and partner agreements and other key documents.
• Support HR and compliance needs as the team grows.
• Manage team members as the organization grows
