Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, political science, government, public administration or related field.
• Master's degree preferred and professional certification desirable.
• Minimum ten years in economic development or client-facing business consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mission EDC's strategy for job creation and investment objectives.
• Oversee projects through lead development and staff coordination.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive marketing plan for residential, commercial and industrial development.
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences and events.
• Negotiate deals and manage relationships with developers, engineers and agencies.
• Lead workforce and talent development initiatives and manage staff.
