Job summary

Thunkable, based in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to transform product and business data into actionable insights that influence product strategy, growth, and customer experience. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Leadership to define success metrics and measure impact of experiments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or equivalent.
• Experience with product analytics, experimentation, and user behavior analysis.
• Experience with event tracking instrumentation and collaborating with engineering teams to validate analytics implementations.
• Experience handling real-time and historical data from the ground up, including data cleaning, processing, modeling and insights delivery.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one language (Python or R).
• Experience with Amplitude and Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with data for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter who thrives in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to identify opportunities and drive decisions through data.
• Conduct end-to-end product and growth analyses: funnel, cohort, retention, segmentation, monetization, experiments.
• Define success metrics and evaluate impact of features and experiments.
• Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and maintain product event tracking.
• Improve data reliability by troubleshooting tracking issues.
• Document metrics, tracking plans, and data definitions.
• Integrate data from Amplitude, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, and payments for a unified view.
