Qualifications

• MBA preferred with analytics/strategy focus.
• 7+ years in data and product analytics with business impact.
• Advanced SQL and programming (Python/Java/Scala/C++).
• Experience with Hive, Spark; Snowflake or modern cloud warehouses.
• Statistics and multivariate regression; data visualization with BI tools.
• Ecommerce/subscription experience a strong plus; confident with analytics tools.
• Able to clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics projects end-to-end informing product strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders to align priorities and build analytical frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science and other teams to analyze data and tell cohesive data stories.
• Deliver data-driven insights to influence decision-making across the organization.
• Design and maintain dashboards, experiment reports, and datasets for self-serve analytics.
• Identify data quality issues and resolve inconsistencies across sources.
• Design and analyze A/B tests with rigorous statistics and interpretation.
• Develop analytics plans for new features with metrics and instrumentation.
• Respond to ad hoc analytic requests with accuracy and context.
• Bring thought leadership to analytics practices within Thrive Market.
