Job summary

Thrive Market in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst, Product to translate data into strategic insights that guide product, finance, marketing, operations, and merchandising. Youll be a trusted analytics partner to leaders across Thrive Market, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Youll lead end-to-end analytics projects, design dashboards, analyze experiments, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred with analytics/strategy focus.
• 7+ years in data/product analytics with business impact.
• Advanced SQL & programming knowledge (Python, Java, Scala, or C++).
• Experience with Hive, Spark, or similar.
• Hands-on with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Strong stats foundation and multivariate regression.
• Data viz/BI tools (Domo, Tableau, Looker) and communicating insights.
• Experience in ecommerce/subscription is a plus.
• Familiar with A/B testing and web analytics (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects informing product strategy.
• Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities and questions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science to craft data stories.
• Deliver data-driven insights guiding decisions across the org.
• Design and maintain dashboards, experiment reports, and datasets.
• Identify data quality issues across source systems.
• Design and analyze A/B tests with rigorous statistics.
• Develop analytics plans for new features with KPIs.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests with speed and accuracy.
• Advise on analytics practices and tooling improvements.
