Job summary

GROWMARK is offering an Exploring Agriculture Internship Program in Bloomington, IL, providing hands-on experience in agronomy, field operations, and equipment maintenance. You27ll visit locations and customers to build professional relationships while assisting with crop nutrition and protection applications.

The internship requires pursuing a degree, ability to work independently and in a team, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree/certification in good academic standing at internship start.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication, customer focus, decision-making and skill development abilities.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class B Non-CDL license and maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights or platforms.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Understand and assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university, in good academic standing at internship start; preferred candidates are entering their first or second year of college.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class B Non-CDL license and maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions and at elevated heights or platforms.
• Willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK's policies and position requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage of $18.

Training & Development

• Participation in all Exploring Agriculture Internship Program activities.
• Attendance at a required orientation meeting on May 17-18, 2027, in Bloomington, IL.
• Completion of weekly activity reports and focus on an operational project to improve business efficiencies.
