Job summary

Headway is seeking a licensed psychiatrist to build or expand a private practice using Headway’s platform. You’ll gain flexibility to set your own hours and caseload while getting credentialing help to accept insurance across states.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll maintain autonomy over your practice, schedule, and client management, with Headway handling insurance and administrative tasks and offering ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• You are a fully licensed psychiatrist with DEA/CDS, ANCC board certification, a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance.
• Licenses accepted: MD/DO on a state basis.
• You aim to start or grow a private practice with control over schedule and caseload.

Responsibilities

• You’ll operate as a 1099 independent contractor with Headway, managing your own hours and client load.
• Credentialing across multiple states is provided, typically within 30 days.
• You’ll use Headway’s built-in EHR tools for scheduling, messaging, and documentation.
• You’ll receive support to navigate insurance networks and maintain compliance.
