Job summary

Stoa Group in Greenville, NC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead assigned phases of construction on large-scale multifamily projects from drywall through turnover. You will work with the Superintendent to ensure safety, schedule, and quality, coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, and documenting progress in Procore.

This role offers growth to a Superintendent and stability with ongoing work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or residential construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and jobsite activities.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to projects within the Gulf Coast Region.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safe work practices on assigned work areas.
• Own quality throughout assigned construction phases and verify work meets plans and standards.
• Coordinate finishing trades to keep projects moving and execute scheduled work.
• Receive and organize materials and deliveries; manage site logistics and hired labor.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and document progress in Procore.
