Job summary

Proper Hospitality in Los Angeles is seeking a Groups and Events Services Manager to lead all aspects of group bookings, meetings, and events at the property. You will serve as the main contact for group organizers, coordinating with sales, catering, and operations to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue through successful events.

You will oversee pre-event details, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up, ensuring layouts, timelines, and vendor coordination meet client expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in group and event management in hospitality.
• Experience managing corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
• Strong customer service background with high-profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for group and event clients through planning, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate with clients to define event goals, room blocks, catering, A/V, and transportation needs.
• Collaborate with sales, catering, and operations to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Oversee pre-event setup, timelines, room assignments, and vendor coordination.
• Manage group bookings, budgets, and post-event revenue opportunities.
